Here is 1968 photo of Plymouth City Centre taken from Cattedown and Victoria Wharves.

Now Andy is flying over Wales and we have Porth, the Severn Bridge, the Ramsey Island rapids...2....3....4, Gorllewin Cymru Island, HMS Monmouth returns to "Gus".is it "Guz" - Devonport & passes Drakes Island & Western Kings....2, HMS Raleigh at Trevol.

The top photo is the very high res one, the 2 smaller ones are too give you a taste. Web space issues continue, but with rising costs for web space, most of my material now goes up on my FACEBOOK page where I can upload loads for free!

Check it out, you don't need to belong to Face Book.

Both now largely overgrown, but intact especially below ground, you can easily see the strategic location of these fortification works. Then a very detailed and busy image of MOUNT WISE, DEVONPORT, PLYMOUTH showing that once it was public swimming pool area , which it still is, but not looking like this!

Next is another busy and hectic scene on the pebble beach of MOUNT BATTEN to the east of PLYMOUTH with STAMFORD FORT looking down from above.
